Susan's Search
Susan Newhouse of Naperville, Illinois, (HOME | Susan Newhouse & Associates, LLC ) knew her ancestors came from Závadka na Spiši, Slovakia. Despite years of research and building an extensive family tree, she was unable to identify any living relatives in the area.
The only potentially relevant document she found was a cemetery rental contract for a family grave in Závadka na Spiši. The contract, several years old, was signed by someone who listed a Czech Republic address—possibly a relative, if still alive.
This was the only information available when we began the search for Susan’s relatives in Slovakia...
